How to Make Friends (by vlogbrothers)

It’s videos like this make me really like Hank and John. The wacky stuff is hilarious and the educational videos are interesting, but the ones where they talk about how they see life are my favorites because they are in such a different place than I am in life.

This one in particular is great because it was exactly what I needed to hear right now. My oldest friend isn’t my best friend by any measure, but I’ve been operating like she is. This was what it took to realize that sometimes, knowing someone for basically your entire life doesn’t mean that they really know you. There are other people that are better to surround yourself with than just the ones that you happen to have around all the time.
